Catching Up on the Good Stuff part 2 of 4

Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I admit, I did not take enough pictures this year for winter break.

Christmas morning at our house.

This is what the kids gave Tami. I was super excited since the hand prints Tami got last year self destructed (salt dough can only get so big without some difficulties) and I wanted to be sure Tami got some hand prints before the kids got too big. This frame kit came out great.

A great thing about working in education, even after Christmas there is still more winter break to play.

They love their Mami! After breakfast with Shea and Nicole, we all went to a park in Campbell and played. It was a great day.

The kids kept putting on the Christmas stockings and "skating on the ice" that is the tile floor. I think this is inspired by Charlie Brown's Christmas.

One day, the kids packed up some toys and we went up to the mountains to visit Melanie and Santiago.

Enzo was writing letters and asked Melanie how to write a 4. Enzo liked that and perfected the 4 instantly.

Winter break? Yes, and so we need a train ride. Shea and Nicole joined us for a ride in the redwoods at Roaring Camp.

In other news, what do you think of when you think of the Niles Lights Parade? Santa and Mrs. Clause? Yes. A Fremont Fire Truck with lights on? Yes. And "A Vintage Volkswagen Beetle"? Yep! The Ohlone Monitor, student news site of Ohlone College, has an article online for the 2013 Niles Lights Parade and it includes just three pictures to represent the event. Yep. Santa with Mrs. Clause, a firetruck, and Enzo cruising in our VW bug. Excellent.
